My router is messing up and randomly changing my IP, i dont know why, i can't fix it, and its hard to find a host to work for free....So, if it was the only way to keep COTF running would you be ok with using hamachi? yes you would have to download hamachi to play it. But we wont have to worry about IP changes. i dont think anyway..

I would still be around to create things for the game but I wont be playing the game. A lot of people can't even use hamachi or find it too confusing to use even with a guide. A server known as DragonHeart used hamachi and today is offline because of it. I wont be downloading Hamachi because my laptop is currently having issues with viruses and I am unable to get my anti-virus to work so I wont be downloading anything for a while.

I have to agree with Borealis. I as a player can barely function Hamachi because I dont know how to use it and downloading more things slows my internet speed. ono That and most of the time it never works for me. Ive already tried it on a previous IT server and it wouldn't work no matter what I did...
Pluss Hamachi can give computers viruses and risk your personal information getting out.

I'll have to agree with my buddy Usagi_Kamakazi here.
Lots of people may not have very good internet and don't want to waste it downloading some program that could expose their IP addresses to possible hackers just to play a game.
If you really need a virtual host, I would suggest using a program called Tunngle if you possibly can. They offer many versions of their program, especially one that's a one-time payment and lasts a lifetime.

Hamatchi is really hard to use because it will give you a bunch of links to viruses Plus people don't want that so i'd rather find another way then hamachi....but if its the only way you might lose half of the people who play this game which is bad if there's people who really like playing this game D: i sure don't want that happening D: Attachments:
